The company designs, manufactures and commissions certified SIL 2-capable flame and gas detection solutions. Det-Tronics products carry performance and safety certifications from globally recognized third-party testing agencies and approval bodies.Details of the roleThe requirement is for a Project Engineer specialized on Fire & Gas Detection Systems and Field equipment. The role would require extensive interactions with internal and external stakeholders to generate optimum solutions for our customers. This is a hands-on role and may require travel in the Middle East and other countries as applicable.Requirements for the roleThe ideal candidate would have 10+ years in the Fire & Gas Detection industry. Candidates working in the Fire & Gas domain would be preferred. Candidates should have hands on experience on generating the relevant deliverables.Hands on experience on ACAD required. Knowledge on Fire & Gas Standards is mandatory.Educational qualificationsBachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related disciplines.Roles and responsibilitiesReview the Purchase order and highlights technical risks on the project.Design, Programming and Commissioning of Field Equipment and Fire & Gas Systems.Designing and Building of Control Panels based on Client requirement and standards.Generating and preparing detailed engineering documents for various clients as per Customer requirements.Coordination with client regarding all the activities of the project ensuring timely approval of drawings, quality plans, safety plans and reporting the overall progress of the project.Well versed in design, assembly, installation & commissioning of Fire & Gas Systems.Preparing project documentation including Job Plan, Method Statement Procedures, Inspection and Test Plan, Engineering Documentation etc.Commissioning and troubleshooting of field Devices from project sites. Preparation of site service reports. Carry out site survey and collect design inputs for brown field projects.Performing testing and commissioning, start- up, FAT, IFAT, SAT, ISAT, and calibration works.Provide training to customers on system and devices.Reporting to : Project Manager – Middle East & India Region.
