In this specific position you will support to develop and administer Accounts Payable (AP) processes and activities to handle incoming invoices in line with AP plans, Group policy, internal and external accounting principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.Join us in connecting people and improving lives!In this Accountant positionYou will support to develop and administer Accounts Payable (AP) processes and activities as per defined guidelines and processes to ensure end-to-end handling of incoming invoices (from invoice receipt to payment preparation).You will deliver AP activities such as data processing and validation, running reports, preparing payment runs, etc.You will conduct AP related activities that are complex or non-routine in nature, sometimes requiring background research.You will have to understand and work on financial accounting processes, methods and tools including metrics, standards, and policies.You will have to adhere to required standards, terms, and procedures in service delivery.You will support external suppliers/ vendors with invoice queries.You will identify and resolve recurring issues and implement process improvements.You will support team members with less experience.Now, Here’s What We Need From You.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualificationMore than 2 years within the same fieldExcellent communicator in English, both written and verbal.We offer:Opportunities in a global company where you can contribute your ideas and skills to move towards our shared goals.Possible further career developmentCompetitive salaryWe are part of Deutsche Post DHL, the world’s leading logistics provider with operations in over 220 countries.
