Job Purpose

As a sourcing lead, you will oversee and manage the sourcing activities within the organization's procurement function. This role involves developing and executing sourcing strategies to ensure the procurement of goods and services meets the organization's needs in terms of quality, cost, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sourcing process for assigned categories, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and mitigate risks.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic sourcing support.
• Analyse market trends and supplier performance data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert on sourcing best practices and market dynamics.

Skills Required

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make sound procurement decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with a focus on strategic sourcing and vendor management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Experience in Coupa platform is preferred.
• Manufacturing Industry Experience is a plus.
