As a Financial Analyst, crucial role in analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to assist in decision-making processes within the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.


Job Description:


Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Interpret financial trends, variances, and anomalies to provide actionable insights.


Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts. Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data and ensure accuracy in projections. Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and provide explanations for variances.


Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making. These models may include scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and valuation models to assess potential outcomes and risks.


Performance Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, explaining complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.


Cost Analysis: Analyse cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with operational teams to implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards.


Other duties: 


  • Ensure they maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.


  • To assist in the training of employees ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency and in the most productive manner.
  • To ensure that the Department's operational budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are controlled, and expenditures approved.
  • To ensure that all the employees read and understand the Handbook and adhere to the rules and regulations.
  • To comply with local legislation and be conversant and act in accordance with any such matters relating to your department.
  • To be flexible and to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, to meet the business demands.
  • To attend trainings and meetings as and when required.
  • To conduct and/or contribute to regular Departmental Communication Meetings.
  • To assess situations and to be able to react accordingly through analysis and perspective

Profile and skills:


  • BS degree in Finance, Economics or related field
  • Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting, corporate finance and information analysis
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
  • Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
