Duties And ResponsibilitiesProper identification of the patient and study type. Preparation of the radioisotope needed for the study with adequate dose considering patient age and weight. Prepare I.V. line for injectable isotopes. Ensuring patient compliance with necessary instructions prior or during certain studies (e.g. avoidance of certain food types in 131 scan and adequate hydration in bone scan Performing nuclear Medicine imaging. Performing routine machines calibration and surveys. Maintaining proper log books of radio-active materials and Tc generators as well as maintaining the radio-active waste room Maintaining activites of the hot lab and report vailations to RSO and Chairperson of Department. Ensuring continuous supply of materials and isotopes, and planning orders for replenishment in a timely manners. Demonstrates compassionate communication skills while providing support and care to the patients as "the patient is the center of our care". Other Job Functions: Perform all duties and tasks in line with the Person Centered Care values. Adherence to all policies, plans and programs within the Fakeeh Care. Perform duties as per the code of conduct requirement and ethical standards as outlined in the 1CM policies and guidelines. Complete mandatory education as per the requirement at least one month prior to expiration. Maintain up to date knowledge on information relating to quality and safety, accreditation, policy management and document management systems.JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Be a holder of appropriate radiographic/technological diploma. Experience: 2 years post-diploma experience Language: Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable Required Licenses/Registrations: Certified by the Saudi Council of Health Specialists as radiologic technician
