And we are backed by the resources of one of the largest, most successful and prestigious corporations in the Middle East (Ajlan & Bros Holding).We take quality assurance seriously and are looking for a Senior QA Engineering lead to help us to manage QA activities for multiple live and in production games.As a member of the central Sandsoft Tech function you will be working with multiple gaming projects, both live and in development, helping them to be released in the best possible quality.As a Senior QA Lead you will:Strategic Testing Leadership: Collaborate with game developers, product managers, and external testing partners to craft comprehensive test plans and strategies tailored to each game. Define clear test objectives, scope, and success criteria to ensure thorough evaluation.External Testing Management: Effectively manage external QA testing teams, overseeing the execution of test cases, both manual and automated, to identify and rectify bugs and gameplay issues.Automation Expertise and Optimization: Mentor external and internal studios to implement test automation where appropriate, leveraging automation scripts and frameworks to streamline repetitive testing processes and enhance efficiency. Budget Management: Develop and implement budget plans for QA activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and resource allocation. Monitor and analyze budget expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization.Thorough Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including detailed test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and test reports, ensuring clear communication and transparency.Quality Standards Champion: Establish and maintain consistent quality standards across all projects, fostering a culture of excellence. Define standard quality KPIs across all the games. Proactively identify areas for improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.To be successful in the role you will need:Bachelor's degree in computer science, game development, or a related field.Proven track record of 8+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on the gaming industry.Mastery of bug tracking and test management tools to effectively manage and organize testing efforts.In-depth knowledge of various gaming platforms and their technical requirements to tailor testing strategies accordingly.Experience in test automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#, etc.) to develop and implement automated testing solutions.Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to identify and resolve complex game-related issues.Experience working with external QA providers to effectively manage and integrate their services into the overall QA process.We offer:Private medical health insurance for you and your familyCentral office locationFree gym accessRegular team-building activities: lots of team fun including company offsite in our headquarter in Riyadh, KSACareer growth opportunities: you will grow as we grow!Fun and supportive working environmentAt Sandsoft, we do things differently.We Value Independence.
