Job Description
- To perform the duties of a Structural Technical Office Engineer, which includes preparing structural shop drawings bar bending Schedules, bills of quantities.
- Design review.
- Ability to structurally redesign the technical issues.
- Collaborate and Coordinate with all disciplines ( Arch. , MEP, Civil works) through 2D CAD drawings or Revit 3D
- Models.
- Raising RFI if needed due to clashes or design problems (if needed).
- Value Engineering of structural design to minimize cost if possible.
- Preparation of method of statements.
- Coordinate with the site team and solve site problems.
- Ability to create a 3D structural Revit model for coordination, quantity surveying, and material takeoff.
Job Requirements
- Experience 3 to 6 years.
- Problem solving and Judgement.
- Adaptability and communication.
- Experience in drafting software ( AutoCAD).
- Experience in BIM / modeling-related software (Revit + Navisworks manage).
