Job Description
- Develop and implement area merchandising plans aligned with company sales and marketing strategies.
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of merchandisers and supervisors to achieve coverage, visibility, and execution targets.
- Monitor product placement, stock levels, planogram compliance, and promotional displays across retail outlets.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure effective execution of trade marketing and promotional activities.
- Conduct regular market visits to evaluate execution quality, competitor activity, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze area performance data and prepare reports on sales, merchandising effectiveness, and ROI of promotions.
- Ensure adherence to company merchandising standards, policies, and procedures across the assigned area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, retailers, and trade partners.
- Manage area resources efficiently, including budgets, manpower, and logistics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in merchandising
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandising standards, and trade marketing execution.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in a competitive FMCG/retail environment.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
