Job Description
- Responsible for the overall supply chain functions and operations (Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse and customer service).
- Responsible for the company warehouse.
- Maintaining knowledge of the market, in addition to current prices and fair rates for goods.
- Planning policies and procedures for efficiently, economically for supply chain operation.
- Monitoring, reviewing and analyzing bids and quotes with suppliers, including the negotiation of service agreements and contracts.
- Overseeing sources for purchasing supplies.
- Maintaining company budget and streamlining costs.
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and bench-marking.
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
