Job Description
● Develop and deliver engaging French language lessons to students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
● Create a positive, inclusive, and dynamic classroom environment that encourages student participation and language immersion.
● Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and regular feedback, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
● Incorporate a variety of instructional materials and resources, including multimedia and interactive activities, to enhance language acquisition.
● Foster cultural awareness and appreciation for Francophone countries through classroom discussions, projects, and events.
● Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to plan interdisciplinary activities and contribute to curriculum development.
● Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance in accordance with school policies.
● Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
● Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
● Support extracurricular activities and language clubs to further enrich students’ learning experiences
Job Requirements
● Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching French or in a related educational role.
● Fluency in French, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
● Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
● Experience working in an on-site (office-based) educational setting.
● Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
● Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
● Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
● Commitment to ongoing professional development and educational best practices.
● Familiarity with modern educational technology and digital teaching tools.
