Job Description
Reservation Manager – Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all customer reservations (flights, hotels, packages, transfers).
- Coordinate with suppliers (hotels, airlines, DMCs) to secure best rates and services.
- Handle customer inquiries, booking modifications, and cancellations efficiently.
- Supervise and support the reservations team, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
- Operate and monitor booking systems (GDS/CRS such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
- Issue invoices, confirm payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Resolve booking-related issues and provide quick solutions to clients and suppliers.
- Prepare regular reports on reservations, cancellations, and revenue.
- Maintain high service quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with management to share market insights and suggest improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in reservations within the travel & tourism industry.
- Strong knowledge of GDS/CRS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
