Job Description
ACE Consulting Engineers (Moharram - Bakhoum) is seeking to hire a Senior Fire Fighting Design Engineer for its head office. Key responsibilities include:
- Design fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire suppression systems, etc..
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for fire fighting systems.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and construction teams to integrate fire protection designs into overall project plans.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IFC).
- Review and approve technical submittals from contractors and vendors (when required).
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Participate in site inspections and testing of fire protection systems to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of experience in fire protection design or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of fire codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in fire protection design software.
- Revit experience is required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
