Job Description
- To place Purchase Orders according to the purchasing schedule
- To follow/monitor the Purchase Order until goods are delivered as per order requirements
- Update the stock management systems (SAP) with all details.
- Any issues (delay, pricing, quality, volume) to be reported to the Spare Parts manager
- Managing, checking and authorizing all relevant documentation i.e. invoices, Certificates, etc. ensuring full traceability of the goods.
- To organize/follow up/monitor the logistics of all orders.
- To follow up all the payments to the Suppliers.
- To follow up with the customs team the releasing of the goods.
- To follow up with warehouse team all the receiving process.
- To contact Vendor for defects in the received goods and the compensation process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree.
- 5-10 years experience in Logistics/supply chain operational is essential
- Ability to work in an organized and methodical manner to meet timescales and deadlines is essential.
- Proficiency in Excel and good overall PC skills
- Knowledge of import/export procedures desirable
- Team player
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Good command of English.
- High interpersonal, negotiating, leadership & planning skills.
