Job Description
The Personnel Specialist is required to apply Labor Law and University Employment rules, regulations and procedures, in the areas of personnel record keeping, payroll, and Personnel documents processing and related personnel transactions functions
- Supports the new employee orientation process; Ensures that all required new employee forms are properly prepared and signed; creates new employee personnel files.
- Creates and update employees profiles on the HRIS
- Navigates and manage data within the time and attendance system (HITS).
- Processes data related to current employees with respect to Human Resources Forms: Justifications, Leaves, Voluntary Separations, etc.
- Provides statistical information and reports as requested by the Manager of Human Resources.
- Composes letters, memorandum, lists, and other materials according to established procedures.
- Manages and administrate the Life and Medical insurance enrollment and claims for the employees.
- Files and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
- Maintains scheduling and event calendars.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree / HR diploma is an asset
- (1-2) years of experience in Human Resources Department
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, eager to help and motivate others

- Well organized and focused on time management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while maintaining commitment to deadlines and deliverable.
