Job Description
- Provides best practices and guidelines in all areas of quality control.
- Develop and review the testing strategy.
- Review requirements and understand design of the system to be implemented.
- Review test cases and test scripts and executes cross test on other members.
- Review and oversees estimation of the testing efforts.
- Ensure conformance of testing processes within the scrum(s).
- Follow up and ensure that all testing artifacts are updated.
- Lead team for building the test framework.
- Lead/execute system, performance, Automation testing.
- Mentor and support other QC team members in technical issues, challenges and problems.
- Execute assigned test cases and log issues and tracks them until closure.
- Defines regression and smoke test suites.
- Owns and defines regressions scope and execution priorities in coordination with SM(s).
- Plans QC team resources and maintains manpower plan.
- Defines required technical competences for QC open vacancies.
- Conducts Interviews and Exams for assessing candidates for QC open vacancies.
- Defines technical aspects of the evaluation process for QC team members.
- Responsible for the development plan of QC team members.
- Maintains a productive and motivated QC team.
- Performs technical research as needed.
Job Requirements
Technical Competencies:
- 5+ years of experience in quality control.
- Solid understanding of software development & testing process
- Strong experience in working with test management tools
- Strong experience in test design
- Strong experience in software testing types & techniques
- Strong experience in database scripting
- Strong experience planning, monitoring and controlling various types of tests execution
- Strong experience in test automation
- Strong experience performance testing
- Strong understanding of security and penetration testing
- Solid test reporting skills
