Job Description
- Supervise the execution of finishing works across various project types.
- Serve as the main technical adviser on-site for subcontractors.
- Conduct site setting out, leveling, and surveying activities.
- Verify plans, drawings, and quantities for calculation accuracy.
- Ensure all materials and workmanship meet specified standards.
- Oversee the selection of materials for project use.
- Maintain project schedules by monitoring progress and coordinating activities.
- Control project plans by reviewing designs and specifications, providing recommendations.
- Prepare project status reports through data collection, analysis, and summarization.
- Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Maintain and update the project database and documentation.
- Address issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the technical team on value engineering as needed.
- Inform project management of any unexpected delays in timelines.
- Coordinate with the technical office and chief designer on project progress.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct site survey activities as requested by the technical office.
- Implement health and safety regulations through periodic inspections.
- Manage unexpected problems that occur during project execution.
- Plan daily activities for workgroups within specified timeframes.
- Monitor the implementation of planned works and address on-site obstacles.
- Present and discuss project progress, challenges, and engineering aspects in management meetings.
- Evaluate and motivate project workers, guiding engineers and supervisors in performance management.
- Perform additional duties as directed by top management to meet job objectives.
- Ensure timely project completion to enhance client satisfaction and avoid penalties.
- Manage project budgets by accurately estimating costs and minimizing unnecessary expenses.
- Address internal and external risks, including client design modifications and site restrictions, throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering with 5 to 10 years of experience.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong leadership abilities.
- Proficient problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in the English language.
- Extensive experience with computer software, particularly AutoCAD.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to prepare schedules and detailed action plans.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
- Commitment to meeting deadlines and adhering to budgetary guidelines.
