Job Description

- Maintain up-to-date billing and accounting system.
- Generate and issue invoices through the system and followup procurment flow, set rules of procurement dept and followup project costs.
- Follow up on collections with clients, buyers, contractors.
- Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines on the system.
- Responsible for performing account reconciliations.
- Monitor customer account status for irregularities, like non or delayed payments,..etc.
- Study and resolve payment discrepancies
- Monitor Accounts Receivables to ensure compliance
- Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash,…xx etc
- Prepares monthly internal reports to send to ownership by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and real-time trends relating to all company division (Contracting, Sales / Trading, Bank facility schedules) from the system.
- Conduct GAP analysis and company cashflow statements.
- Ensures the company’s profitability, liquidity, and solvency at all times.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, graduate studies are a plus (MBA,CMA,CPA etc.) as well as proven management experience.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in construction or trading related accounting / finance practice.
- Excellent knowledge of construction industry highly preferred.
- Excellent English and Arabic – reading & writing.
- Exeprience in ODOO Software a plus.
- Knowledge and experience of corporate tax.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and result orientated.
- Ability to schedule, prioritize, and assign all accounting work assignments and be able to work with a team in a harmonious environment while motivating staff / other senior accountants in the company.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of diverse individuals.
- 38-49 years of age only, Male or Female.
