Job Description
Job Title : Monitoring and Evaluation officer
Reporting To : Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- 1. In collaboration with project managers. develop M and E and data collection tools.
- 2. Monitor project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving outputs and results.
- 3. Conduct training / orientation on M&E/MIS tools and strategy for project staff.
- 4. Support all M&E activities including monitoring data quality, tracking progress of activities, and contributing to staff capacity building.
- 5. Review the performance of M&E tools to help identify potential modifications or resources.
- 6. Regular field visits to collect data and ensure quality of data collected by project teams.
- 7. Report monthly and annual progress on project activities.
- 8. Analyze changes and patterns in indicators and performance reports.
- 9. Identify causes of potential bottlenecks in project implementation and to enhance quality of reporting.
- 10. Assist in the design of project indicators to monitor and evaluate project activities.
- 11. Responsible to make M&E presentations.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of Monitoring and Evaluation experience in a non-governmental organization
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Project Management or other relevant academic background
