Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Gathering/monitoring financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual balance and income statements.
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Recording transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts
- Processing payments
- Producing various financial reports
- Assist in annual tax return preparation & Review and recommend changes to existing accounting
- Forecasting costs, revenues
- Handle the record of the daily transactions for customers and suppliers.
- Generate the required journal entries using the internal system.
- Recording transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts.
- Processing payments.
- Responsible for the preparation of general account entries and record them on the computer system.
Job Requirements
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of the broader team
- Appropriate handling of sensitive information
- Strong varied experience with accounting software
- Understanding and experience of Treasury Accounting including foreign exchange, liquidity, cash flow and various Financial Instruments
- Team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple parties
- Good understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt.
- Strong knowledge of banking relationships and covenants
- Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages
- Dealing with clients and customer service skills.
- Attention to details with an eye for accuracy Analytical thinking.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in all Accounting activities.
