Job Description
- Receipt the patient and give the order to the nurse for start the vital signs assessment.
- Identify the possibility to start the physiotherapy session after Reviewing the results of vital signs assessment
- In case of the signs are good with no Red Flags, the physiotherapist starts the physical assessment.
- In case of any Red Flags, the physiotherapist gives the referral to ER.
- Review the history of patient’s clinical status and check the performed investigations and x-rays.
- Perform physical assessment and define the best protocol that suits with the patient clinical status according to department protocols.
- Start the therapy session and ensure compliance with IPC and Quality guidelines as wearing Face mask, Hand gloves and PPE.
- Re-assess the patient clinical status after “6 Sessions” to evaluate progression rate and define if the implemented protocol was successful or have to be changed or modified.
- Refer the patient to the primary consultant after finishing the physiotherapy scheduled sessions.
- Comply with good documentation practices and ensure completeness of patient files.
- Orient patient and the family with the care plan after the assigned sessions.
Job Requirements
- BSC Physiotherapy.
- Preferred Master Registered (General Surgery or Internal Medicine).
- 2-3 years of work experience at least at hospitals.
