Job Description for – Stock Controller

Duties:

• Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
• Manage purchasing orders for incoming supplies, and matchreceipts with purchase orders.
• Keep updated inventory records on daily basis in ERP systems including daily shipments.
• Create and maintain a detailed inventory log of all incoming, outgoing, and current supplies.
• Monitors and maintains current inventory Stock levels.
• Ensure that all production costs are properly taken in the cost of sales and inventory costs.
• Develops and determines the inventory accounting methods and analyze the inventory-related reports.
• Manage inventory transactions, including inventory transfers between branches.
• High control over sub-warehouses balances.
• Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
• Prepare monthly reports for the inventory of Raw material, packaging, work in progress and finished products.
• Reviews the expiry date of goods and report on goods reaching minimum expiry dates and slow-moving items.
• Coordinate regular and Ad-hoc inventory audits.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly strict closing deadlines
• Produce various management reports.
