Job Description
- Manage to approach corporate and foundations that have not previously supported ZC, building on an annual/monthly calendar of key prospects,
- Identify and secure funding from overseas foundations, in the Gulf and elsewhere,
- Contribute new ideas for fundraising and identify suitable funding initiatives and calls for proposals etc.
- Prepare a detailed monthly action plan on specific areas of responsibility, identifying areas for growth and development and outlining measurable objectives.
- Objectively review the success and achievements against agreed targets, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for development.
- Maintain organized hard and soft files of all fundraising information.
- Participate in the day-to-day work of the organization such as reporting, attending team meetings, as required.
- Support the Head of Fundraising in managing the ZC database, ensuring that records are up to date and that all new contacts and correspondence have been entered.
- Support the Head of Fundraising in managing administrative and support tasks.
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required to build relationships with potential donors.
- Excellent written skills (English / Arabic).
- High standard of computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, and the Internet).
- Demonstrable knowledge of corporate with a good network in particular
- Ability to plan ahead and work within agreed timeframes
