Job Description
We are in need of a DevOps Engineer to join a fast growing team providing an efficient bridge between business needs and technical solutions, and delivering software solutions that add value to our customers.
What are you going to do:
- Be acting as subject matter expert on topics such as web servers, SSL, load balancers, containers, cloud technologies, site security.
- Work closely with infrastructure operations and development team to ensure reliability and performance in all subsystems.
- Diagnose problems seen in production and advise on solutions.
- (Where possible), ensure build flows are fully automated.
- Ensure appropriate availability, reliability and scalability of applications and services. • Document best practice and lessons learned on team Wiki.
Job Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Experience managing CI/CD systems, automation (Jenkins/Azure DevOps) and scaling distributed systems in a public, private, or hybrid cloud environment.
- Good Linux/Unix administration skills.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration
- Technical expertise on source code versioning, integration, deployment, configuration management (Ansible) and IaC provisioning/orchestration tools (Terraform)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration with Nomad or Kubernetes. • Scripting experience is essential, with proven ability to pick up diverse tools and languages (e.g. PowerShell, Ruby, Python)
- Intermediate or upper English skills.
