Job Description
- Development of various types of financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions or capital raising transactions.
- Perform valuation analysis for prospective and ongoing transactions, using various valuation methods – multiples, comparable, precedents, and DCF.
- Conduct preparation and review of materials used in M&A transactions, including Investment Memorandum, management presentations, and Pitch-Books.
- Analysing financial information relating to specific companies, e.g. company results, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
- Keeping up-to-date with Fintech market developments, new products, start-ups or any event that can affect the sector.
- Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; Finance, Accounting or Economics are preferred major fields.
- Prefer MBA.
- 3-5 years of experience (Associate position) in a finance or business background.
- Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principles.
- High proficiency in performing complex financial modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas and functions, and awesome Powerpoint skills.
- Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and networking skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, under extreme pressure and tight deadlines, with minimal supervision.
