Job Description
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in alignment with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and visitors to foster a culture of safety.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of safety audits, incidents, and corrective actions for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Coordinate with management and operational teams to ensure the integration of HSE best practices into daily activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and propose improvements as needed.
- Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during inspections and ensure timely resolution of any findings.
- Promote environmental sustainability initiatives and support the implementation of waste management and pollution prevention programs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years and up to 5 years of relevant experience in HSE roles within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively deliver training and interact with diverse teams.
- NEBOSH & OSHA certificates.
