Job Description

  • Develop and lead the implementation of Channel competitiveness strategy, strengthening the uniqueness of the channel, tackling the current barriers to further development and creating the capabilities required to capture opportunities from other competitors and channels.
  • Manage Modern Trade (MT) channel and lead the team in accordance with sales plans to achieve/exceed objectives in terms of revenue, market share and market penetration.
  • Organize, control and motivate team in order to achieve and exceed volume targets within the agreed profit margins by implementing company’s strategy, and recommending programs for business improvement in Modern Trade.
  • Develop in-store visibility plans in coordination and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation. 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Develop & Implement sales strategies to meet & achieve revenues and growth targets.
  • Implement B2B and B2C channels strategy by developing long term relationships based on win-win approach to ensure business objectives are met and to position BTC as a strategic business partner.
  • Leading, Coaching, and training the sales teams to achieve their targets as per company annual targets.
  • Perform orientations and presentations to team members regarding the assigned projects.
  • Remain knowledgeable about our markets and best practices.
  • Plan, monitor and appraise the performance of the sales team, by implementing the company performance management system to ensure all team members are effective & meet their targets.
  • Must work and collaborate with all relevant internal departments in order to develop the channel's programs and increase sales.
  • Achieve operational excellence and cost optimization across the sales and distribution business.
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for effective sales operation & ambitious growth plans in line with the company strategy.
  • Prepare annual sales forecast for the entire channel. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Relevant Modern trade experience of at least 5-6 years with consumer goods brand/s, and at least 5 years in Managing Sales Team.
  • Should possess good market knowledge in the fast-moving consumer good and its trends, competitor's activities and happenings in the trade.
  • Excellent communication and intrapersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food distribution strategies and methodologies.
  • Must have last experience at B2B & B2C and Retail Sector.
  • Strong Leadership & Management Skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess the highest levels of maturity, ethics and professional integrity.
