Job Description

  • Oversee and Plan different career events, Career Fair, Coaching Sessions, Guest sessions, and participation in external events
  • Develop annual training plans and support its conducting career development workshops and training sessions
  • Manage and supervise the implementation of the different training programs
  • Support in conducting resume critiques and mock interviews
  • Supervise the online training platform Develop and maintain existing and new corporate partners and funding.
  • Plan and organize different types of career events like innovative competitions, hackathons, and technical - training
  • Handle all the needed arrangements and preparation for ZC career fair 
  • Support ZC students in enhancing their skills & capabilities 
  • Keep track of students and alumni portfolios and success stories
  • Conduct needs assessment and develops annual training plans according to the student's needs and market trends
  • Conduct resume critique and mock interviews with undergraduate and graduate students, and alumni.
  • Assist the students in their career planning and in raising their capacities to achieve their career goals and objectives.
  • Create plans for expansion; track and analyze contributions.
  • Report Intern's progress & graduates' progress annually

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management or Business Administration, Commerce, or related discipline
  • Technical-related Diploma / TOT is a plus 
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Career Advising, Coaching, and Training of University students in addition to expertise in Private Sector Engagement and employment.
  • English and Arabic Proficiency.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, with high-level skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Possess a high level of interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Experience with event management.
  • Experience with Career fairs and employment.
  • Experience with private-sector engagement activities and plans
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and deal with ad-hoc crises. 
  • Able to maintain utmost confidentiality while exercising careful judgment in all department affairs.
  • Experience working in a University or Academic setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with job market trends and current employment practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, training, and supervisory skills.
  • Team-oriented work style and good analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage several program initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound conceptual/theoretical knowledge of key marketing and advertising principles.
  • Ability to work independently and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Able to work under pressure with a minimum level of supervision.
  • Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information.
