Job Description
- Prospect Government, semi Government & Corporate accounts, generate interest, qualify and develop new business. Work independently to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned to the defined Account List
- Develop an overall account strategy leading to the deployment of partner and internal Riverbed resources selling effort into assigned accounts. Sales management time as appropriate for closing actions.
Job Requirements
- Good presentation skills (native language and English)
- Strong, successful pre-sales engineering track record in the industry and territory in a similar position is necessary
- Understand Datacenter & Campus fabric designs using Clos based designs knowledge of BGP EVPN, Vxlan. (very important)
- Virtualization technologies VMware, VMware NSX, Microsoft hyperV, Nutanix and openstack. (not mandatory for all of these –basically data center experience
- Ability to build, develop, and maintain a network of people at the customer/partner side independent of sales being accepted as the trusted advisor
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of future trends and market directions
