Job Description
- Intensive knowledge of drilling machines, tools and accessories, e.g. types and models of drill rigs, types of core drilling bits and their suitability to types of rocks, wireline drilling systems ( NH, QH...) … etc.
- Dealing and communicating with drillers and drilling crew. Organizing drilling shifts. Preparation of lists of spare parts, consumables, oils and lubricants needed on site.
- Set up the incentive scheme for the drilling crew.
- Samples management, e. g. placing of core samples in the core boxes, description of samples, moving of core boxes to the camp, sample preparation, storing of all core boxes.... etc.
Job Requirements
- Age below 40.
- Has presentation skills, able to communicate with clients.
- Fluent English.
- Preferably engineer or geologist or mining engineer who has supervised drilling campaigns.
- At least 8 years experience in the field of core drilling and reverse circulation drilling, especially in Gold exploration.
