Job Description

  • Team Building: Recruit, train, and develop a talented finance team capable of handling complex financial tasks.
  • Costing and Pricing: Develop and implement accurate costing models to ensure profitability and competitive pricing for our cake customization services.
  • Profit and Loss (P&L) Analysis: Prepare detailed P&L statements, analyze financial performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Create comprehensive budgets and forecasts, monitor financial performance against these plans, and provide timely insights to management.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's assets and ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Financial System and Protocol Creation: Design, implement, and maintain a robust financial system and protocol that aligns with the company's goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Model Creation: Develop comprehensive financial models to support fundraising efforts, business planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • Tax Compliance and Reporting: Act as a liaison with a legal/tax accountant firm. Handle tax-related matters with authorities and communicate to senior management. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
     

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced or start-up environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing Accounts payable and Accounts receivable processes.
  • Experience in finance control and revenue and investment management
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ZohoBooks, ERP systems).
  • Successfully managed a roll out of an ERP system. Ability to lead the project and assign stakeholders and follows thru to completion
  • Proven ability to create accurate and insightful financial models.
  • Proven ability to create comprehensive forecasting plans and budgets.
  • Proven ability to create, implement, and manage financial systems and protocols.
  • A passion for the food industry and a desire to contribute to the growth of a dynamic company.
