Special Account Salesman



Job Description



o Ensure 100% Sales target achievement on a monthly basis
o Implement and maintain customer contract compliance and promotional activities
o Regular visit cycle for assigned key account stores and customer central warehouses – create and implement workable and effective journey plans ensuring that all buyers and section heads and outlets are visited weekly
o 90% of time spent in the Market
o Carryout weekly On Shelf Availability (OSA) audits in all Assigned Stores
o Complete a daily sales report and submit to Key Account Manager
o Ensure that all (SKUS) are available in Stores and Customer Central Warehouse
o Regularly check prices aligning with the Key Account Manager
o Manage short expiry and damages
o Manage and maintain share of shelf, promotional displays and forward stocks
o Manage and maintain Customer Central Warehouse Stocks
o Monitor Merchandiser Activity – Coordinate, schedules, and workload
o Give direction and guidance to merchandising team in line with key account objectives
o Customer Purchase Order (PO) input, collection and follow up
o Follow up on deliver dates
o Collect Customer Payments on time & in full
o Ensure that all issues are addressed immediately and are reported to the Line Manager
o Monitor Merchandiser Availability reports by principal and review with Line Manager
o Report on competitor activity as per business need and plan
o Land relevant innovation on shelf as per NPD plan
o Drive Zero tolerance policy on misuse of company assets and funds
o Ensure all customer claims being settled on time as per agreed trade scheme
