Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, caring, reliable, non-smoking and English speaking Nanny for part-time childcare (after school) and light housekeeping. Monday-Friday.
Duties/responsibilities include:
- Meeting children at their after-school bus stops (nearby) or picking up from their school on days where they have after school activities (2-3 days per week)
- For picking up at school, if no car/license, we will reimburse for cost of bus/tram/etc to school and Uber ride home with children
- Preparing the children’s snacks and their dinner each weeknight
- Ensuring they begin on homework, etc
- Light housekeeping- keeping kitchen, dining and living room areas clean/tidy, laundry, etc
- Occasional errands (e.g., to nearby grocery store, dry cleaning shop)
- Occasional extended evening hours or babysitting where parents have evening work or other commitments
Flexibility is definitely a plus!
While our primary need is childcare after school (about 15 hours per week (4/4:30pm - 7/7:30pm)), we would welcome additional housekeeping assistance for someone who wants to work extra hours. Could be one full day during the week or one or more afternoons before children get home. We’re flexible to discuss.
Pay to be negotiated and we will reimburse for transportation expenses (eg, metro/bus).
