Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Storekeeper. As a Storekeeper, you will play a vital role in managing inventory, overseeing stock movement, and ensuring the efficient operation of our storage facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain accurate records of stock, receive and inspect incoming goods, and coordinate with various teams to fulfill inventory needs.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Unpack and properly store items in designated storage areas.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, including receipts, issues, and returns.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders or replenishment requests as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source and select reliable suppliers.
- Inspect and report any damaged or expired items, taking appropriate actions.
- Coordinate with other departments or teams to fulfill stock requisitions.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and stock management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting and moving of heavy items.
- Familiarity with safety and security regulations in handling inventory.
- Knowledge of basic computer applications and data entry skills.
