Job Description
- Assist in preparing & updating projects’ BOQs and calculating quantities.
- Assist in reviewing schematic designs of new projects received from the design team, to verify their execution possibility and compliance with local building codes & regulations.
- Assist in the technical revision of all architecture workshop drawings, at different phases of the work progress.
- Assist in reviewing and coordinating between structure & MEP drawings at different phases of work progress.
- Assist in reviewing all shop drawings received from contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Assist in communicating with contractors & suppliers.
- Assist in creating any required detailed shop drawings.
- Assist in regularly updating the “Construction Details Library” as well as the “Vendor List” of manufacturing and suppliers.
- Assist in responding to and preparing RFIs/VORs and site queries.
- Attend meetings with consultants, contractors, suppliers & client representatives as needed.
- Assist in new site surveys and as-built drawings.
- Assist in responding to any technical inquiries.
- Prepare, modify, and calculate different material cutting sheets.
- Prepare all needed time schedules for all types of projects using the relevant program.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering,
- 1 to 2 years of related professional experience preferably in fit-outs projects.
- Excellent experience in AutoCAD, Photoshop, MS office.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks involving complex and varying problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Very good English skills especially the technical terms
- Owning a Car is a plus.
- Experience with 3D modeling programs is a plus.
- A resident of 6th October or Zayed is preferred
