Job Description

Application mira is hiring a creative Art Director!

Job Objective:

Generally, an Art director plans and manages the overall visual aspects of mira to promote the brand on all platforms, directing the work and the team from the concept stage to the final production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Determine, develop the visual style of advertising campaigns, publications, and other visual elements and determine how best to represent a concept visually.
  • Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use.
  • Manage graphic designers, set and exhibit designers, or other design staff.
  • Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff members.
  • Maintaining responsibility for each project through final execution, including QA and reviewing and signing off on all revisions and production phases
  • Coordinate activities with other artistic and creative departments
  • Generate clear ideas and concepts in coordination with the content creators.
  • Establish art department standards for production, productivity, quality, and schedules.
  • Ensure team adheres to current processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and proposing and creating processes and tools to support design operations
  • Review and approve the artwork, photography, and graphic designs produced by design staff
  • Select photography, artwork, designs, and other visual elements for layout.
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience.
  • Cooperate with the rest of the marketing team to ensure visual adherence to the marketing strategy.
  • Manage work from concept to final execution within deadlines
  • Produce sketches, storyboards and generate creative graphic ideas.
  • Work with the entire creative team to establish a unified brand understanding and voice for the company, helming a creative audit to elevate our innovation
  • Develop creative briefs based on ideas established in brainstorming sessions with direction, schedules, and expected deliverables for the creative team

Job Requirements

Job requirements

  • 6+ years of proven experience in professional graphic design and motion graphic, preferably with a marketing agency.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in fine arts, marketing, and advertising or any relevant field.
  • Experience in social media designs is a must.
  • Proficiency at design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Lightroom)
  • Personality (Excellent communication skills, creativity, Mentorship, flexibility, Time-Management, details-orientation, Management, resourcefulness, ambitiousness, and high stability)
