Job Description
The main role is to manage the day to day operation and follow up with new business leads; this Includes people management, Business Development, offers’ revision, and budgetary/cost reporting.
- Prepare and follow up with all the FMM tenders.
- Manage, supervise, and coordinate all the related site works and required staff.
- Calculate and compare costs for required service to achieve the maximum profit.
- Work closely with the other company's Sales and Business Development team.
- Plan for future development in line with strategic business objectives.
- Direct, coordinate and plan all the related FM issues (staff, tools, equipment, resources, etc.).
- Keep FM company staff safe.
- Check that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
- Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences.
- Lead the site Maintenance teams in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational facilities.
- Increase sites operational effectiveness, improve on service delivery, mean time between failure, and downtime reduction.
- Manage and implement improvement plans, and ensure that Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
- Establish standard policies and procedures while mentoring and leading the team members.
- Implement and manage continuous improvement by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices, and processes.
- Integrate and network with others to utilize the help and assistance of the department team as well as the company departments’ teams.
Job Requirements
- B. Sc. Degree in mechanical/electrical power engineering from a reputable discipline.
- MBA/ PMP.
- 15+ years of proven experience in managing sites, especially facility maintenance management projects.
- 7+ years of proven experience in managing a team.
- Proven experience with MEP Facilities services providers is a must.
