Job Description
- Provide level 2 support for both branches and ATMs network/communication problems forwarded by the
- Service Desk team in order to promptly resolve any issues/complain raised by any customer or branches’
- ’ staff accordingly maintaining customer satisfaction and CIB’s leading position.
- Monitor, proactively, both branches and ATMs network availability and redundancy, in order to maintain.
- Track the network performance and communication quality for branches and ATMs to avoid any delay.
- Following up the providers and Telecom if any communication problem hits any branch or ATM, and provide fast response with a temporary alternative communication solution for branch/ATM having major prolonged communication failure, to maintain the maximum stability for both branches and ATMs.
- Supervise the physical cables installation in any CIB premises; follow up with the cables’ vendor the process of installation and ensure it is according to the standard measurements, quality and speed.
- Make sure that all hardware configuration is done according to the approved standard templates and has all approved security policies; to maintain consistent and security compliant configuration applied on the entire network branches/ATMs hardware.
- Ensure that both branches and ATMs Network components are maintained at the appropriate patch and software levels as per Vendor support matrix and recommendations to minimize operational risks,comply with PCI and implement if necessary according to the Change Management Cycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree Of Communication / Computer Engineering ot its equivalents
- Engineer: Minimum 0-2 Years of experience in Data Networking, Senior Engineer
- Minimum 3-5 Years of experience in Communication Technical support
- Good Knowledge in Networking, preferably CISCO products and technologies;
- Routing & Switching (Routing protocols such as MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
- Network Security techniques (Encryption, dot1x, DMVPN)
- CISCO certificates is a plus - Associate level or professional level. (CCNA or CCNP))
