Job Description

Job Purpose:

Own end to end a set of Issuing and Acquiring, Core and VAS processing solutions for the Network One and Network Lite stack, focused on delivering standard solution sets to meet market requirements. The responsibilities span across the entire product lifecycle, including P&L management, revenue growth and product delivery. The role requires a deep understanding of NI clients, across all MEA markets where the Network One and Network Lite stack is in use today but also more broadly in other markets where this may be applicable in the future. The individual will be expected to closely working with Sales teams and other stakeholders for day to day management of the existing product solutions as well as for go-to-market for new solutions, with appropriate propositions tailored for target customer segments. The role will also manage product enhancement, in collaboration with Technology teams based on market needs and client feedback.

Job Accountabilities

  • Solution management, development & roadmap ownership: Engage in idea generation for enhancements to existing solutions, concept validation, business case development, as well as financial modelling and planning of these enhancements in conjunction with Technology and Sales stakeholders to drive individual product roadmaps. Analyzing market trends, gathering sales/ customer feedback and review of competition will be required in order to determine product and go-to-market strategies. New solutions can be either developed in-house or via partnerships with external providers.
  • Proposition development: Understand the issuer client base and suggest suitable product standardized propositions for each segment of target customer. Further work in collaboration with Marketing to deliver appropriate sales tool kits, develop and deliver product training to relevant teams, extend assistance for any client facing activities focused on improving product revenue and penetration. The role will be client facing as responsibilities will include advanced support to Sales for client discussions.
  • Growth focus: Working closely with the Sales teams across regions to identify opportunities, offer advanced sales support, proposition delivery to drive product revenue growth. Developing pricing appropriate for each client segment. This also involves simplifying and standardizing the sales and client onboarding process through a standard product description, pricing, tool kits, additional tools such as proposals, legal documents, etc with a view to onboard clients faster.
  • Stakeholder management: Effectively collaborate and manage relationships across key stakeholders both internal (Client Managers, Technology & Delivery, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Risk) and external (suppliers, clients) to deliver as per the product strategy. Actively manage any suppliers who are partners for product delivery in terms of contracts, commercial, product roadmap development.
  • P&L ownership: Monitor and manage critical product performance metrics for the product P&L and make recommendations to optimize, address challenges. Identify opportunities to optimize costs and grow revenue as possible.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in Product Management and development with P&L experience, technical product management background

Experience & Skills Required:

  • 12+ years of financial services product management, leading and developing products, services and solutions, strong product management skills (knowledge of product lifecycle, development and implementation frameworks etc.)
  • Experience in NI with a thorough understanding of the current NI Network One or Network Lite product set, and issuing and acquiring processing technology landscape in general, is a plus.
  • Experience in developing product strategies to facilitate aggressive business growth
  • Prior experience working with Product and technology vendors and alliances
  • Experience in selecting and managing external vendors to design and implement designated aspects of enterprise requirements and solutions
  • Strong analytical skills, with logical based reasoning and recommendations
  • Strong managerial, planning, analytical, communications, decision-making, lateral thinking and leadership skills
  • Proven growth-oriented leadership with exceptional execution skills
