Head of Engineering – IoT Products

• Provide leadership to an engineering team that designs, build, and test different types of IoT gateways and sensors;
• Develops requirements for communicating devices to ensure seamless integration of both physical and digital layers into the IoT platform.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of customer segment needs based on key market and technology trends and champion new product development opportunities for the business;
• Define technical requirements and specifications for IoT gateways and sensors and design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of the same;
• Develop in-depth knowledge of customer segment needs based on key market and technology trends and champion new product development opportunities for the business;
• Define technical requirements and specifications for IoT gateways and sensors and design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of the same;
• Work closely with Product Line Management (Marketing) to develop a multi-generation product technology roadmaps for business.
• Leads multiple projects in collaboration with multi-functional teams with exposure to senior-level management to drive new product development.
• Tracks project progress and provide regular reports on operations and support activities.
• Deploys quality initiatives within the company to ensure engineering quality and improve the speed of execution.
• Uses modern engineering practices to monitor the productivity of the engineering teams in order to drive continuous improvement.
• Leads collaboration including definition, implementation, verification acceptance testing, product readiness, market deployment, and sustaining efforts for the devices and embedded platforms
• Provide leadership to all lifecycle stages including requirements analysis, architecture/technical specifications, hardware/software design, and implementation.
• Work directly with stakeholders, engineering, and operations to create high-quality products that solve customer problems.
• Research, assess, and adapt new technologies necessary for the ongoing evolution of our products
• Monitor, support and participate in industry standards and governmental agencies as required.
