About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Foreign Procurement Engineer to oversee and manage procurement activities supporting our Saudi Arabia market operations. This role will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the cost-effective and timely supply of materials, equipment, and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement operations to support business requirements for the Saudi market.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that achieve cost savings and supplier performance targets.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and delivery schedules with both local and international suppliers.
- Oversee issuance of purchase orders, delivery follow-ups, and resolution of supply challenges.
- Coordinate closely with logistics providers to ensure seamless shipping to Saudi Arabia.
- Establish and maintain supplier evaluation systems and performance records.
- Ensure strict compliance with procurement policies and KSA import regulations.
- Provide strategic input to management on supplier performance, risks, and cost optimization opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in foreign procurement within panel building or electrical industries, preferably with KSA exposure.
- Proven track record in vendor management, cost analysis, and contract negotiations.
- In-depth knowledge of Incoterms, international trade practices, and customs clearance processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
