Job Description
- Analyze current used technologies, services, and systems and improve and expand upon them with a focus on maximizing resource efficiency & utilization
- Undertake end to end activities including building the infrastructure to automate the testing, deployment, configuration and monitoring of production systems to ensure their availability, performance, scalability and security.
- Evaluate and compare new technology options and vendor products.
- Technical support and maintenance of existing systems, services and surrounding infrastructure
Job Requirements
Knowledge
- Education: B.Sc., Computer Science or Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Years of Experience: 7+
Must-Have:
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows servers.
- Experience with at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Python and similar languages.
At least two from any of these skills, more is a plus:
- Hands-on configuration management such as Ansible
- Hands-on log management, monitoring and alerting such as ELK, Grafana and Prometheus.
- Hands-on vMware vSphere management
- Hands-on Packer and Terraform
- Hands-on Kubernetes and Openshift
- Hands-on CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Hands-on version control platforms such as GitHub.
- Familiarity with containerization, networking, storage, database and security.
Skills
- Language Skills: Oral and written fluency in English
- Computer Skills: Microsoft office
