- Design and build applications for the Android platform.
- Quickly produce well-organized, optimized, and documented source code.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously learn, improve skills, and support other teammates.
- Attention to detail is essential and all tasks must be carried out to the highest standard.
- Communicate and enforce coding standards.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of working experience in Android development.
- Experience in writing code using kotlin.
- Strong knowledge of OOP programming and design patterns.
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development is a big plus.
- Experience with continuous integration is a plus.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Have published one or more Android apps in the app store.
- Familiarity with JAVA applications.
- Experience working with the Android frameworks.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Highly motivated and dependable.
- Action-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-directed and self-organized.
