Job Description
- Assists the tender team during the tender phase (liaises with the customer/client, calculations for manpower, requirements tools, …etc.).
- Represents the project to the customer on the basis of the contract.
- Implements the specified project management system.
- Leads the project team to achieve the defined project goals.
- Establishes the project organization and agrees to the roles and responsibilities for perfection with the line manager.
- Follows up and coordinator with procurement team for all phase (submittal, approval, MR, PO, delivered, invoicing ) according to the project plan and take all necessary corrective action for fulfilled the project plan.
- Follows up and coordinates with technical/engineering team for all phases (submittal, approval, as-built…etc.)
- Issues the regular project reporting to show the project status, work progress, constraints,…etc.).
- Prepares and hold project status meetings (internal & external with customer /clients).
- Follows up the work progress in the site to be sure it is matched with the set project plan.
- Follows up and coordinates with commercial and cost control for issued the progress up to receiving the payment.
- Changes orders/claim managements submissions with the claim manager.
- Monitors the ongoing risk & opportunity management during all project phases.
- Fulfills & monitors the HSE requirements with the HSE officer.
- Reviews & coordinates with CC Officer for issued monthly CC report and compares with budget costs and takes the corrective action to cover any extra cost.
- Closes projects & project handover.
Job Requirements
- A Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10-15 yrs. experience, PMP Training, or accreditation.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- High Leadership skills.
- Very good communication and negotiation skills.
- Prefer from delta or Alexandria residence.
