Job Description
Role Brief:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality, include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.
How you will make an Impact:
- Design and execute manual and automated tests for functional and non functional testing for Web, REST API and Mobile applications.
- Work in an agile environment with different teams (Development, Product,Operations and Design) to assure the QA coverage.
- Attend planning meetings, provide feedback on user stories and create acceptance criteria and test cases
- Document test cases
- Assess the status of releases, make sure that releases are rolled out with the highest quality.
- Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Ideal Background and Expertise In:
- Performing several types of functional/non-functional testing either manually or automation.
- Hands-on experience in OOP and one or more programming languages: Java, C#, JS, SQL.
- Hands-on experience in GitLab, CI and CD tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience with security testing.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
You will need to:
- Hold a university degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Have 2 - 3 years of experience is a must.
- Solid understanding of the whole software development cycle and the role of QA at each phase.
- Experience in writing and implementing comprehensive, effective and efficient test cases and plans.
