Job Description
- Create website from scratch using WordPress and php laravel
- maintain old developed website for the company
- integrate with other 3rd party applications
- build eCommerce websites and back-end for Mobile applications
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of website development experience in a team environment
- Computer Science degree, or significant equivalent experience
- Experience developing user-friendly and appealing websites following modern development standards and workflows
- Experience with E-commerce is a plus.
- Expertise in rendering page designs (wireframes/visual designs) into web pages (HTML5, Bootstrap 4, PHP, CSS3 and JavaScript)
- Proven experience in custom WordPress development (themes and plugins) and strong working knowledge of other CMS platforms (Drupal, Joomla, etc.) and understanding of the strengths and weaknesses between them
- Experience integrating with REST APIs including third-party ones like Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.
- Understanding of using design patterns to creatively solve problems while preserving standards and using conventions
- Experience with cross-platform and cross-browser testing and working with closely with quality control engineers
- OOP/Functional/Procedural coding styles
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Preference for applicants with strong knowledge of build tools (Composer, npm, Gulp or Grunt), CSS preprocessors (SASS), version control (Git, TFS), Docker and Javascript libraries (Angular and React).
