Job Description
- Update databases as needed for new scholarship recipients and scholarship criteria for new scholarships.
- Determining student eligibility, and counseling students regarding scholarships new opportunities.
- Maintain the scholarship policies, procedures, and operations in collaboration with the Director.
- Monitor student academic progress to evaluate continued scholarship eligibility; approves or denies student petitions for special conditions or policy appeals.
- Compile and report metrics on a semester basis to assess the students’ performance Collaborate with faculty and admission department.
- Collaborate with finance department regarding payments and collection of funds.
- Collaborate with IT staff to automate the scholarship data process.
- Search for new potential donors for scholarship.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations - Marketing Management or Mass Communication, or business administration , or related discipline
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in administration preferred in financial aid and/or scholarship.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, with high level skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Possess a high level of interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
