Job Description
- Partner with internal and external domain experts to highlight emerging practice trends and product/content needs of the customer.
- Conduct product research to further understand the competitive profile for the segment and opportunities for growth.
- Work with regions to identify opportunities to create a “promise to the customer”, develop strategy, and build this into roadmap for product/segment.
- Work with regions to refine go-to-market strategy and service model.
- Work closely with marketing to translate clinical needs, market analysis, competitive analysis, and regulatory environment factors into actionable strategies and tactics for the product.
- Oversee NPIs, cooperate closely with R&D and functions to execute to targets, and facilitate trade-offs within program to fulfill business case.
- Develop value propositions for specific offerings, communicate these to extended team and customers.
- Regularly review product offering, look for areas to gain competitive edge through NPIs or end-of-life.
- Ensure right product quality.
- Drive product cost out for margin improvements.
- Evangelize for the product by presenting to customers and user groups; represent the product at trade shows and with media; sell product roadmap internally; participate in winning large deals; provide sales training, and generate enthusiasm for the product.
- Create a team environment that encourages innovation.
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, healthcare or related field
- 6+ years’ experience in product management, product development, or related field including workflow experience with similar products.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong analytical and process skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
- Healthcare product/industry/technical acumen, with special focus on IT products, cloud solutions, privacy & security, healthcare IT standards (HL7, DICOM, …), AI.
Desired Characteristics:
- MBA, Master’s degree or PhD in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in product management, product development or related field.
- Good level of clinical knowledge, with focus on Cardiology and Cardiac Ultrasound.
- Deep Product Management/Marketing expertise, including: market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, requirements, product life-cycle management,
- Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
- Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
- Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to work globally
- Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.
