Job Description
Role Summary:
We are looking for a strong and competent DevOps Engineer to join our talented DevOps Team to support technical solutions on Almatar.com web property built on top of public cloud offerings (Azure and AWS). The individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure and software releases.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Interact with team members to improve our engineers’ tools, technology stack, and system integration and stability.
- Establish, design, perform, and execute comprehensive technical DevOps tooling deployments to facilitate CI/CD.
- Analyze, organize, and provide in-depth reviews for our SW deployments and integration to improve our SW development cycle and dynamically ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Troubleshoot production issues to address technical commitments and boost sustainability.
- Supporting development teams in building and designing highly fail-safe applications and infrastructure;
- Developing automation tools to ensure scalability and high availability of our services;
- Supporting software release processes;
- Monitoring, preventing and troubleshooting security related issues;
- Practical application of TFS, Jenkins, SonarQube, Octopus, or Ansible;
- Effective troubleshooting of complex issue.
- Automate repetitive work using Bash Maintaining data sources [ Postgresql ]
- Configuration Management [ Ansible ]
- Monitoring, logging and Alerting [ Prometheus - Grafana -ELK]
- Orchestrating docker containers using k8s Provisioning Infra [ Kops - AWS ]
- Implement message queuing and log aggregation [ Apache Kafka Multi Node Cluster ]
- Maintaining data sources [ Cassandra ]
- Maintain , monitor and create Web servers
Job Requirements
- Vast experience in systems automation, orchestration, deployment, and implementation.
- Solid knowledge and experience managing cloud applications using AWS services and infrastructure.
- Solid experience using Jenkins and Linux as well as experience configuring and automating monitoring tools.
- Experience in software development and experience working with tools and languages such as MySQL, SaaS, Git, Python, Shell scripting, Java, and MongoDB
- Previous experience with Git, MySQL, Grafana, Ansible, Redis, RabbitMQ, Node.js, PHP build, MongoDB, VSphere, Jenkins,ELK stack
- Experience with Docker containers in a platform like Kubernetes, Kops, OpenStack, or Terraform
- Azure or AWS certification
- ITIL principles knowledge
