Job Description
Responsible for making sure that the company's services and products are installed appropriately and that the site is technically accommodating to such products.
- Receives detailed Design Package from Site Manager/ Engineering & Operations Director as received from Project Management.
- Studies Installation technical requirements and Prepares Sie Visits Plan accordingly in coordination with Site Manager/ Engineering & Operations Director (Approval required on plan details)
- Sends site visit plan to the designated Project Manager and makes it available on the system (or any specified communication channel).
- Meets with the contractor to explain all required technical preparations and sends assembly - installation sheet.
- Performs site visits as planned and in the coordination of any Third Party required to be present to follow up on technical preparations progress (electric connections, wirings, outlets… etc).
- Informs Project Manager verbally a brief about the visit and the current status of the project progress.
- Reverts to Engineering & Operations Director in case changes are needed to be applied to the design or to change products or adjust quotation due to changes or complications on site. ( after confirming with commercial & concept design Engineer )
- Prepares “Service report” and secures client or client’s representative approval in case of installation or maintenance visits only and a copy to be sent to Project Management.
- Prepares “Site Visit report” to be approved by Site Manager/ Engineering & Operations Director and sent to Client, contractor, Interior Designer and shared on the system for all internal concerned parties.
- Supports contractors or clients over the phone for day-to-day arising problems.
- Specifies “first fix” items, items to be delivered to clients first and assures that they are submitted at their specified times.
- Provides support or guidance on installation techniques during site visits
- Advises if there are any faults in the installation of any of the products and reports to the technical and concept design teams.
- Generates a detailed report of progress, problems (with on-site pictures to illustrate the issue), suggested corrective actions.
- In the case of pre-finished projects, performs an initial site visit to indicate the possibility of installing lighting products.
- Updates “Site Visits Plan” after each visit throughout the project and informs all concerned internal parties (especially the Project Manager).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering.
- Excellent at 2D & 3D design programs (ex. Autocad, Revit, Rhino ).
- V.good English Language.
- V.good communication.
- Good problem-solving.
