Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and high-performing sales director to lead our sales department. The sales director will be required to achieve our sales targets and grow our customer base. Responsibilities will include working with management to achieve targets, motivating sales team and close follow-up, and developing a strategic sales plan.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Achieving and/or exceeding annual sales targets
  • Developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and grow customer base
  • Cultivating and maintaining customer relationships and loyalty
  • Working with customers to understand their business needs
  • Understand market needs and trends for our products
  • Work with marketing and management to achieve results
  • Ensure sales strategies are followed
  • Study sales data to make adjustments as needed
  • Draft detailed and accurate quarterly sales reports
  • Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products
  • Develop pricing and payment options
  • Arrange and attend client meeting with Sales team member or management for important meetings or deals

Job Requirements

  • Proven sales executive experience, exceeding targets
  • A minimum of 10-15 years sales experience
  • Previous experience as a sales director
  • Ability to communicate and work with all levels of the organization, including management and executive level
  • Proven ability to lead the sales process from plan to execution
  • Proven ability to articulate distinct aspects of products and/or services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Very strong managerial tactics of coaching and feedback, with strong attention to people development.
  • Knowledge or network with the fire door, consulting, or contracting industries is added value but not required
